An intelligent human body

I was wondering weather the human body uses any sort of feed back mechanism. To be precise does the involuntary part of the body get feedback from the voluntary part. The Medulla Oblongata controls the involuntary actions of the body, but does it take any feedback from the voluntary parts of the brain?
