## Schrodingers Computer

The world famous Schrodingers equation is the ultimate equation which solves all of the Quantum mechanics problems. It is said that it can applied with proper restrictions to derive classical Newtonian laws.Its much like Sauron‘s ring of the Ash nazg durbatulûk, ash nazg gimbatul, ash nazg thrakatulûk, agh burzum-ishi krimpatul fam

Roughly translated it means ‘One ring to rule them all, one ring to find them, one ring to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them’.

Schrodinger’s equaton$i\hbar {\partial\Psi(\mathbf{r} ,\,t) \over \partial t} = \hat H \Psi(\mathbf{r},\,t)$ is indeed the one equation to rule them all. It is the equation physicists used some time ago to describe everything which was earlier a mystery like the Atomic Structure, nuclear physics. It is so powerful that it was applied to nuke Japan in WWII.

What I wonder when will such an equation (or ring ) will be obtained for the field of computer science?

Can there be a possibility of ‘One algorithm to solve them all’ . Imagine an algorithm which when given inputs of all the possible fields and scenarios gives you the perfect solution. It can be applied or rather derived to fit in to schedule operating system tasks to control the elevators in  a huge building. When the day comes there will be a major change in the way people will think. The efficient ‘Divide and Conquer’ approach will have no takers as the solution may be efficient in the smallest part but not so when different parts will come together. The algorithm will take all this into account and give you the one solution.

Different approaches object oriented, structural will be derived from the same equation by different forms of the equation (like time dependent or space dependent versions of the Schrodinger wave equation ). The program will not be loaded into any specific address in the memor, only the probability of finding it in that instant of its execution will be very high in a given location.

Well I am getting much more complex thoughts (say wierd) about this and will express them when I find the right words to express them.

But thinking more on it. May be there will be Schrodinger programming language (some day ). Or may Assembly is already the perfect language. (‘One Language to do them all 😛‘). May be may be not . May be a high level language was made to abstract the specific features of the machine to do some particular task(FORTRAN). Or may be they just developed it without knowing its capabilites (Javascript built to do some mundane tasks on browsers , now GMAIL , Facebook Yahoo run on it). Python comes close to be the one language to do them all. But still there are better alternatives to do certain tasks where Python can be beaten for speed and ease of use. May be C/C++ is the ONE LANGUAGE with the availability of millions of libraries; but may be not as it is not so easy to use. Java certainly attempted to be the language but failed miserably (Is there a OS built only on Java, if there is one I pity the people who use it. I can imagine them waiting atleast a  day for it to load ). There is still no alternative for HTML may be there will never be one.

Still I am in pursuit of the ‘One Language to Do them All’.
